Mission Statement
The JCC Swim Club is committed to motivating young swimmers towards personal success through technical swimming excellence.
Our Values
- We value Fitness through sport and play.
- We value Respect for our teammates, competitors, coaches, and parents.
- We value Fun while participating in competitive swimming, in addition to other sport interests or social activities.
- We value Excellence of performance both in the pool and in the classroom.
Club Philosophy
Our program is built on the philosophy that young children should be given the opportunity to explore swimming as a competitive sport, be instructed in proper technique, and motivated to their reach their full potential. We pride ourselves in being that very important “Bridge Program” - One in which young swimmers have chosen to train beyond summer league, yet not quite ready to commit to swimming as a full-time sport. As an extension of the San Antonio AAAA swim program, our swimmers have access to local introductory swim meets which allow them to seamlessly join the larger AAAA club sites as they age up, to expand their training opportunities. Our swimmers are competitive. In the past several years, we have placed numerous swimmers into B, BB, and A Championship Finals, as well as qualified swimmers to compete at the Texas Age Group Championships. We are proud to be a valued member of the Alamo Area Aquatics Assoc. which was named the 2020 Texas Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame Distinguished Team.
